They also included in the e-mail some of the feedback from their readers who help filter out the submissions they receive. One of the comments was along the lines of "this world feels too big for a short story to explain". Gosh. That sounds familiar. I could probably go back through my DA archives and find how many stories have received that comment already, but that sounds like too much work. I'm sure those that are familiar with my writing understand what I'm referring to here.
Lastly, my friend Brian (not my brother) has achieved e-fame. His blog, Coffee with Sargeras (cwsargeras.com) was featured on World of Warcraft's homepage. Now, the irony here is he started that blog after writing a fictional chat log between leaders of the Scourge and Burning Legion. At the time, Blizzard was having a writing contest and since I was entering, he thought it'd be funny to write something... despite never having played WoW. The chat log was posted on my realm forums by myself and proceeded to ripple through the WoW online community, showing up on other realm forums, guild forums, and even a couple WoW-themed webpages. Brian then created a blog, which got picked up by even MORE people and finally Blizzard itself.
All without having ever played World of Warcraft.

^^ Also, thank you for the kind compliment. I appreciate it truly. I work hard (sometimes seemingly in vain) to improve my penciling skills. Any positive feedback is amazing for my hungry man-ego.
